photohoping a magazine photo


1.)   What differences do you see?
The color of her skin id different, she seems to be thinner and her arm is longer

2.)  Why do you think they made those changes?
They made those changes to make her look “pretty”,

3.)  Are the changes to Faith Hill's photo necessary to sell more magazines?
In the fashion industry, therefore its important for the magazine to sell more magazine

4.)  What do you think about this very common practice of using photoshop to manipulate photos for this reason?
I think it makes people fake and not who they are, like many people photoshop their photos using the same way and that makes them fake and not real, and then when you see them in real life you realize the difference

5.)  What are the positive effects and what are the negative effects?
The positive effects is that it covers all the flaws especially for women because it makes them look prettier than they truly are, and the negative effects is that its not who they really are, they’re sharing a fake image of themselves and that difference will show in real life.
